About
Welcome! I am a PhD candidate in Applied Economics at Oregon State University. My research lies at the intersection of development economics and forced migration, with a focus on how refugee policy shapes household welfare, agricultural productivity, and land use in Sub-Saharan Africa. Broadly, my work draws on spatial and panel data methods to study how markets and policy affect livelihoods, land use, and natural resources in low-income settings.
I am on the job market in 2026–27. My job market paper estimates the effects of large-scale refugee arrivals on food security, income, and crop prices in rural Uganda using a shift-share instrumental variable design.
